  Well, I've been here for one night and have quite a few more to go on my reservation, as I'm here for work.
  
  So far my toilet has backed up, my bed is as hard as a rock, there is no freezer in my mini fridge and the staff is just not interested in helping.
  
  I was told several times someone would be up to tend to all this, but no one showed. Oh, and the internet is constantly going out.
  
  I travel a lot for work, A LOT, and have stayed in other La Quinta's and usually have a pretty decent experience.
  
  Although, I have been noticing that renovations is a theme across all of them the last few months. The more the renovations progress, the worse the experience. So I'm not sure who is advising them through all this but it's not good so far.
  
  The bathrooms are being converted to a motel kind of layout. Meaning, the toilet and shower only, is in a tiny room with a door and the sink area is outside, exposed to the entire rest of the room. This is never a good thing.
  
  This is a very low standard layout and creates a severe lack of privacy for co-workers how have to share a room, but also for anyone who isn't married for a long period of time, possibly..perhaps even then. Basically anyone who favors any kind of privacy whatsoever and I'm pretty sure that most all people.
  
  For all these reasons I will be telling my office to take them off the list of possibilities for future stays. We have quite a few teams out at the same time across the US and Canada.
  
  Our schedules are brutal so we need to be in a place that is hassle free. So far, this is not cutting it, sadly. It may well be a rough couple of weeks to come. I hope not. I hope to be able to come back and update this review with better news. I am certainly open to it.
